Costumed pirate in MAGA hat attacks SF roller skater with a sword

A MAGA-hat donning costumed pirate who was harassing patrons of San Francisco's Church of 8 Wheels roller skating rink Friday night, who was heard by witnesses shouting homophobic slurs, slashed a man with a sword outside of the rink, according to the police, witnesses and the rink's owner. After a verbal altercation outside of the rink, the victim tried to take the hateful buccaneer's "Make America Great Again" hat and that's when he pulled a two-foot sword out of his waistband and cut the victim's hand and wrist. Despite bleeding profusely, the victim chased the attacker for about a block. Police are still searching for the perpetrator.

David Miles Jr., the owner of the rink known as "Sk8father," went outside after being told someone was hurt and tried to help stop the bleeding. In a post Monday, he says he didn't learn the attacker was the one wearing the hat until later, and that's when he took a picture of the MAGA hat on the ground surrounded by blood and posted it on Facebook.

"Tonight is the first time I have ever experienced how utterly crazy T-rump people really are!!! A guy wearing a MAGA hat attacked people in the street with a sword!!! This is right in front of the Church of 8 Wheels!!!"

In the comments section, people questioned the legitimacy of the picture, some comparing it to the Jussie Smollett case and calling it a hoax. In response, Miles recorded a video of the blood splattered sidewalk, saying it's not like Smollett.

"This is real life, folks, and this happened, this is blood stains, I'm not making it up, it's not fake news, as some idiot stupid people that have an entire waste of an education in life don't believe, they think this is made up."

The Church of 8 Wheels was built inside of an abandoned Catholic church in San Francisco's Western Addition neighborhood.
