WH Press Sec tweets "Mueller Madness" bracket

Trump supporters are taking a "victory lap" after recently appointed Attorney General William Barr's letter-summary of the Mueller Report states Trump, nor any U.S. citizen including obvious anyone who was involved in his campaign, conspired or colluded with the Russians to affect the outcome of the 2016 presidential election; they see it as a win. And, for them, it is a political, public-perception win, with the speculations, punditry and jokes about Trump being a Russian asset that now seem invalid. Also, any questionable, nefarious activities, or proof of even more lies told to the public by the administration that may be revealed when the full (redacted for national security) report is released won't matter to a base assured Trump has done nothing wrong.

One supporter, New York Post contributor Sohrab Amari, put together an admittedly clever NCAA tournament-style bracket with journalists, pundits and celebrities he has seeded as the worst offenders of spreading a false Trump-Russia narrative.

Have at it, unofficial surrogates. The full report isn't out, and it's pretty obvious Trump, at best, stumbled back-and-forth over the line of obstruction of justice, but have fun, play the clips, print the quotes, make the jokes and post the memes.

But White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, whose job it is to disseminate the official position of the president and the administration, posting the picture of the bracket on her official twitter feed is definitely inappropriate...

...especially when she said earlier that what they did is "punishable by death."

"It's a sad reminder of the lack of accountability that started to seep into the media and into Democrats..."

Not well said, but we get it.

"...They literally accused the President of the United States of being an agent for a foreign government. That's equivalent to treason. That's punishable by death in this country."

Yeah, when there's already been crazy Trump supporters who have gone after those rhetorically targeted by the president, maybe don't tweet out a hit list, White House.
